Shawnee Paul

Shawnee Paul is a musician from Eskasoni, First Nation. Her love for music came from her musical family. Her grandfather was a fiddler who gave her her first fiddle at the age of 6. Shawnee acquired a B. Music and a B.Ed focused in music education at Acadia University. As a fluent Mi’kmaq speaker, Shawnee has put together songs and musical activities to help teach the Mi’kmaq language.
