Nelson Cloud
Nelson, is from Metepenagiag Mi'kmaq Nation and has been at Anqotum since 2009 and has been involved in awareness and outreach since then. He has extensive expertise in many research areas and wood turtle, sturgeon and flora/fauna are his passions. He and his camera attend many communication and promotional events at the community level and has collaborated with many different organizations.

Promoting Lifelong Learning Program
We will share a description of a unique outreach program - a model of connecting youth to their environment and their communities and promoting careers in science - and its growth and successes for the past 11 years. We will engage workshop participants in an example of a hands-on activity we feature in our program.
