Margaret Mizzi is an educator at St Thomas University and teaches within the Aotiitj Program in Elsipogtog First Nation. She is a feminist geographer, food enthusiast, genealogist and has co-authored (2024) a Mi’kmaq cookbook, called Mitji – Let’s eat which has been shortlisted in this year’s Gourmand World Cookbook Award.
