Courtney Nevin

I am a Mi’kmaw person from Sipkne’katik First Nation. I have a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education. I received my Bachelor of Education which had a specific focus on Mi'kmaw Education. I explored the issues of Juvenile Justice and Indigenous Treaty Rights during my Bachelor of Arts. I can speak English, French and some Mi’kmaw language. During my time teaching at Halifax Regional Centre of Education, Chignecto Central Regional Centre of Education, Bridgeway Academy, L'nu Sipuk Kina'muokuom, I have worked with students with learning disabilities to promote inclusion.
