Indigenous Land-based Teacher

Tanya McCallum is a proud Woodland Cree from northern Saskatchewan. She is a doctoral student with Blue Quills University with the focus on Indigenous Education with a land-based approach. Tanya obtained her Masters on Indigenous Land-based Education with the University of Saskatchewan, she also has her Bachelor Education degree with a major in Indigenous Studies & also a graduate from Integrated Resource Management program. She currently works as a land-based teacher k to 12 at a First Nations school.
